Happy First 30! Cyntrel and Duane

Approximately 30 days ago I witnessed the union between friends that joined hearts as husband and wife. It was a beautiful ceremony for a beautiful couple! This is a look back at what I saw...Enjoy!

Her Day!

Earlier this month I photographed a wedding of one of the happiest brides one could work with! She was not camera shy and truly enjoyed "Her Day"! I wish the two of you many years together as one.

I want to thank Pastor Boakye-Yiadom of Ghana Mission Methodist Church for the opportunity to work within his church home again. Here are a few of my favorites...

An Example for Others...

Last weekend I had the pleasure to witness the union between Cyntrel and Duane. A beautiful young couple that as their pastor said, "Are an example for others to follow". This wedding was at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Columbia SC. It was coordinated by Rayn Leland of RL Elegance.

Cyntrel was a sweet bride and no matter who I spoke to that day, they all said the same thing! What I saw were two young friends who really have fun together...the comfort level between them was off the charts! They just seemed to compliment one another.

They opted to do a "First Look" before the ceremony to have a few minutes alone and capture some special moments together. That turned out to be a good decision as I could not get the two of them away once the party started!! Everyone had a great time but Cyntrel and Duane were in a zone all their own!

Thanks so much for allowing me to capture you day! I wish the two of you a lifetime of fun, love and happiness together!

WOW!! 1/11/11... How will you remember this day? For Isaac and Joyce, this is the "First 30" days as their time as one. It was a unique experience for me as I captured not only the familiar church ceremony but I also captured moments of the more traditional ceremony between the families of the bride and groom. In both ceremonies, Joyce was a beautiful bride and Isaac was a happy groom. Wishing both of you much love and success as you continue to share your life as one...

A December Union...

Last weekend I had the pleasure to photograph the union of Joyce and Isaac. They became one in the presence of family and close friends at the Ghana Mission United Methodist Church in Charlotte. It was a beautiful ceremony and Joyce was a lovely bride. The reception was held at the historic Palmer Building built the 1930s. About 30 days ago I witnessed two friends become one. In a ceremony at the historic St. Mary's Chapel, surrounded by family and friends the love between these two was easy to capture. This was an union choreographed by The Silk Veil and was filled with moments of joy from the beginning to end. She is my Pretty in Pink Bride and I will forever be grateful to have been able to capture these special moments for her. This is what I saw....

Well First Lady McClendon your shoes spoke volumes!! Your mother and makeup artist were wondering what was so special about these shoes as I tried different angles to capture their unique message. How fitting...
