Happy Holidays!! This year I will be traveling to New York to capture the magical wedding ceremony of Seth and Gifty. Seth was the best man for Charles and Linda's wedding earlier this year. I captured the images below of him and his fiance as guests during that time. Now it is their turn as bride and groom, stay tuned for their wedding story...

For Over 30 Years...
They have loved and cared for one another as husband and wife. The kind of caring that goes a long way. The kind of love that grows a little more each day. I had the pleasure of spending time with them at Reedy Falls in Greenville SC. It was their anniversary and their daughter had entrusted me to capture the moments of their day. This is what I saw...

So Thankful...
I'm spending the day with immediate family. Decided not to travel this holiday. Something about being home to take a minute to enjoy family and friends. I spoke to some close friends already for the day, texted others and a couple even stopped by. But no schedules to adhere to, no rush... just living.
I completed and posted an anniversary session I did over the weekend for a wonderful couple that has been married for over 30 years! I will post a sneak peek for everyone else shortly. Didn't mind "working" today. It's beautiful when work doesn't seem like itself at all. What a blessing...
Which leads me to the reason for my even posting today. I feel, "So Thankful" that I am able to work with my passion. I am, "So Thankful" to my clients who over the years have entrusted me to capture some of their most precious moments. I am, "So Thankful" that He has provided me with the gift of detail and I have found a way to use it to bring joy to others. Lastly, I am, "So Thankful" to my lil one who was running in the opposite direction of my camera as soon as she could learn to walk! Her unwillingness to "Pose for Mommie!" forced me to find new subjects!
Enjoy Life & :)

Birthday Details!
I was going through some of my earlier images from this year and I came across one of the most thought filled events I've photographed in a long time. This was a birthday dinner party for a young lady who shared her day with family and close friends. I loved how the space was transformed into a warm intimate setting filled with flowers, details, candles, details, margaritas and YES! More details! I really enjoyed capturing your day Michelle~ Thanks for the "Camera Candy"!!

Charles and Linda- II
Charles waited for Linda to arrive in the US for a long time, as she completed her education abroad. She finished and arrived here just this past May. He was determined to be with her. So on August 22, they were joined together as one at the Ghana Mission United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC.
Here are a few of my favorites...

Charles and Linda
This past Saturday I witnessed the colorful wedding ceremony of Charles and Linda. I do not have the words to describe the beautiful union between these two friends who have now became one. It was an afternoon filled with African traditions (both are from Ghana), family, love, singing, dancing, friends and plenty of laughter and prayer. Thank you both for the opportunity!

Introducing Carrie B!
A song writer that "was put on earth to spread love through music" is how she describes herself. A voice of pure love is what I thought when I heard her sing. Her is she... Miss Carrie B.
Before moving to Charlotte, she says she was raised in a house where music was not played. She had to create her own world of music. She began with a CD by recording artist Mariah Carey, who she refers to as her "first teacher" and she has been going since then!
Carrie B is working on her first album entitled, "Mission: Fantastic". She works with producer/manager Elvis Danne and musician Smitty of Charlotte, NC. Mixing Reggae and R&B sounds together this trio is working to take the QC by storm.
